Pre Course Learning for Creativity & Innovation for Business Performance

The purpose of this pre course work is to give you an opportunity to start thinking about
creativity and innovation in your professional life.

The first part will be presented to your manager. The second part will be presented in the
classroom.

Please complete this assignment before you attend the classroom session, so the topic will be
fresh in your mind.

Part A:
In your own words, define “Creativity and Innovation”:

Part B:
Following the reading on creativity and innovation, think of a person whom you would define as your
role model for “Creative and Innovative thinking”. This person can be anyone - a known artist, a
relative or a colleague at work.
1. Prepare a 3-minute presentation on the topic.
2. Address the following questions:
• Who is your model of creative thinking?
• What makes this person your model of creative thinking?
• How is their creative and innovative thinking expressed?
• What would you like to learn from them?

Please complete the above exercises and bring along with you to the course.
These need to be handed over to the trainer before the start of session .
