TEST Post-tensioning Ltd.

(ETIC FAR EAST)

Profile
Tpt systems, a Taiwanese post-tensioning technology
system, has been credibly organized by a team of
specialist and well experienced engineers who
majored in design and manufacturing and installation
of prestressing concrete works , to develop and to
create better solutions of post-tensioning and pre-
tensioning for different requests from clients
worldwide.

Through our continuously innovative team work,

we successfully improved our products for clients
and won their reliance with solutions of OEM
and ODM and our own Tpt systems. We are
confident in the integrity of our products and we
are pleased to recommend you the Tpt
post-tensioning systems for the world.

1
Feature
Tpt Systems, has launched its new “T” range post-tensioning system, complied with FIP
and the latest ETAG requirements, which has been developed for modern civil engineering
requirements and applications. They were designed not only functionally reliable but also
easily being installed by our team work know-how and accumulated experiences at the job
site operation.

We trust that through our repeated examination and improving, the T range system has
been not only highest quality systems but also economic ones. We successfully and proudly
presented an excellent post-tension system which satisfies both budget and safety to the
world.

The following information and data can help designers and users to prepare and carry
out projects with the Tpt T range system. However, the information contained in this
brochure may be changed at any time as new techniques or materials are developed.
Welcome to contact us directly for further information.

2
Strands & Ducts
Tpt systems offer engineers a complete
range of anchorage and prestressing forces
to meet the most arduous requirements,
whilst at the same time they are designed
to give trouble-free simple site operation.
The table below gives the standards of the
strands which may be used with our T range
system.

The recommended duct diameters of corrugated metal sheaths,

having a minimum thickness of 0.3mm, are indicated for each
anchorage. However, these should be checked against the local
requirements and regulations.

The High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Polypropylene

corrugated ducts enhance corrosion protection and insulation. The
duct provides excellent secondary corrosion protection in
aggressive environments. Tpt systems can be connected with the
plastic ducts conveniently with our plastic Deviation Cones.

3
T rang system
Tpt systems T rage multi-force anchorages include Live End (Stressing End ), Dead
End, Anchorage Coupler and Moveable Coupler for different requirements or
application.

We developed a very efficient

and reliable system which is
widely applied to bridges,
buildings, dams, tanks etc
structures. The special
designed Force Transfer Unit is
a casting with ribs more than
traditional ones introduced
along its length in order to
help transmit the lower
prestressing stress into the end
block concrete, and a build-in
tapped grout hole is provided to
accept our unique one way
grout valve which can prevent
the cements return to mixer
while the grout operation
stopped.

Tpt has dedicated to continuous research and development to provide highest standard
products. Our quality management systems comply with BS ISO 9001 and all the
products are manufactured to strict standards and high specification materials.

4
T live end anchorage
Tpt multi-force Live End Anchorage
comprises a casting force transfer
unit (FTU), a plastic deviation cone,
an anchor head and wedges. The
individual wedges grip each strand,
the anchor head transmits the load
from the strands onto the FTU and
the FTU transmits the prestressing
force into the concrete.

5
T dead end anchorage
Tpt multiforce Dead End ( or
non-stressing ) Anchorage is used
when a tendon is stressed from
one end only. In the majority of
cases the non-stressing anchorage
is accessible and so the Live End
anchorage is used as passive end,
the wedges being lightly tapped
into position with the aid of a piece
of steel tubing. During stressing,
these wedges can be seen to pull
into the anchor head progressively
as load is applied to the other end
of the tendon.

As long as the non-stressing anchorage is not

accessible, a buried dead end anchorage is
required. Tpt had its PATENT spring-hold cover
plate, which is made of transparent plastic to
insulate wedges from cements, but to vision
whether wedges and strands are properly installed.
And the springs keep the wedges in correct
positions before stressing. The accessories can be
easily assembled with a Live End anchorage to
become a buried Dead End anchorage.

6
T anchorage coupler
Tpt Anchorage Coupler
is used mainly in
continuous bridge
construction where it is
essential to couple a
tendon after initially
stressing the previous
span. The coupler uses
a special Anchor Head
with radial slope on the
outer perimeter for
second stage tape hole,
thus there is no obvious
angle on the outer
wedges. And the
PATENT Spring-Hold
Ring make you install
the strands of second Spring Hold Ring
stage easily and safely.

7
T movable coupler
Tpt Moveable Coupler uses special
designed inline couplers to connect the
un-stressed strands of first stage to the
second stage. The strands of the
tendon are staggered to be coupled by
inline couplers to allow for a very
compact section.
Because every single strand in a tendon
is connected with an inline coupler, the
strands perform like continuous strands
while stressing. Even the strands twist
along the tendon, the inline couplers
can adapt themselves much better
than traditional Moveable Couplers.

10
TF Flat anchorage
Tpt flat anchorages are used mainly in slabs and transversal tendons in bridge deck. Its
compact design makes it widely use in different applications and strict working conditions.
There are 13mm and 15mm strands anchorages can be chosen for designers. The strands are
stressed individually using a mono-strand jack. The pocket for stressing can be built by our
reusable pocket former.

Pocket Former

The specially manufactured anchor head with the machinery

taper holes ensures every anchorage works reliably and
extremely safely. The taper holes of the anchor head are much
more smooth and precise than the SGI banana head of the
traditional ones. It is made of alloy steel, so it’s totally not
necessary to worry about the defects of the casting procedure
or the missing flaws of quality control.

11
TF live end anchorage
Normally the flat anchorage system mostly uses
the live end anchorage for all applications. Dead
end or non-stressing end can use the live end
anchorage instead, and basket dead end or loop
one are commonly used for dead end
applications in slab of buildings.
Once the coupler is needed, please contact us,
we will provide proper solutions for your cases
particularly.

Accessories
We designed some accessories for your post-tensioning work. They can cost your installation
of the post-tensioning down through our longtime experiences at site. Welcome to contact
us for the further information.

Air valve is normally installed on the highest

point of a continuous tendon to expel the air out
of ducts during grouting. It is essential for
grouting works to fill the ducts full with cements.

Strand Bullet, we make the plastic bullet by nylon

material to increase its durability of heat which
comes from the friction with duct walls and
strands in the ducts.
There are two sizes for 12.7mm and 15.2mm
strands.

One way grouting valve is our unique design for

grouting work. It allows the cements to be
injected into the duct only, while you stop the
grouting pump the cements won’t be able to go
back to your grouting hose. There are two sizes
for 1/2” and 3/4” taper grouting holes.

Instant connector, There is a instant connector to

connect the valve and grouting hose easily. The
connector can be screwed to your grouting hose,
and then it can quickly twist to connect with the
one way grouting valve which is already screwed
on the FTUs

Pulling wedges, they are the most popular parts

for our clients as we can customer-made the
pulling wedges for your different kinds of pulling
plate of your jacks. Or we can also produce the
whole innards for your jacks.
