Create Equipment By List Entry IE10

Purpose
You wish to create a number of Equipment records which are based on reference objects in one step.

Trigger
Need to create multiple Equipment records in succession.

Prerequisites
 Input – (Required Fields) Equip. Category - ‘M’ for machines
 Output – (Results) More than one Equipment created at one time. Change and add data
to these records as required.

Menu Path
Use the following menu path(s) to begin this transaction:
 Select Logistics  Plant Maintenance  Management of Technical Objects 
Equipment  List editing  IE10 - Create to go to the Equipment List Entry Initial
screen.

 Press F1 for help
 Press F4 for getting input values
 R – Required
 O – Optional
 C – Conditional

 Use of reference equipment will provide necessary data to the equipment master. If a
mandatory field is not available from the reference you will be prompted to supply the required data.

Procedure

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.

You may repeat the process of entering a reference object and ‘No. pieces equip’ to generate
entries in the table of equipment to create. However, only the reference object on the screen at the time you
continue will be copied from during the creation process.

4. Select icon or Ctrl+S to complete the creation process

 If no ‘MaintPlant’ was entered; a confirmation will be required before

continuing.

 The value on the screen for ‘Equip. Category’ and ‘Maint. Plant’ when you select ‘Save’
will be used for all entries in the table of equipment to create.

 If there is a reference object in the reference section when you select ‘Save’ a sub-object
to copy selection window will pop up for you to filter which sub-objects will be copied from the
reference object during creation.

5. You have completed this transaction.
