Since 1842, The Citadel has produced world class leaders; principled leaders, whose core values have
not changed in 176 years. We are the oldest college alumni association in the country and the Ring we
wear so proudly is held in high esteem world-wide. It is that legacy for which I am committed to serving
our association and beloved institution. I value the classic military education of the South Carolina Corps
of Cadets and I will insure we remain true to our core values and stay competitive as the best institution
of higher learning in the World.
