An MML command is used to perform operation and maintenance on NEs. You can
configure NEs and query NE data by using MML commands.
Prerequisites
Context
In addition to running one MML command at a time, the system can also run
MML commands in batches on NEs of the same type. When MML commands
are executed in batches on multiple NEs, the system distributes the MML
commands to each NE in sequence.
Some MML commands may have multiple messages. When running these
commands on the M2000, however, Common Maintenance displays only the
first message. You can view the other messages in the Follow-up Reports
Browser window. For details, see Viewing Succeeding Command Messages.
Procedure
After you select an NE type, all the NEs of this type are displayed in the
navigation tree on the left.
3. Select one or multiple NEs for which MML commands need to be executed.
NOTE:
When you use the MML command client of this NE for the first time,
the Confirm dialog box is displayed, indicating that the configuration file of
the MML commands of the current NE version is not found and you need to
download the configuration file from the server. Click Yes.
The Upgrade dialog box is displayed, starting downloading the configuration
file. When Status is Upgrade completed, click OK.
You can also double-click the MML command to be executed in the navigation
tree of MML commands.
NOTE:
The active and standby servers can simultaneously distribute the MML
commands related to domain and dual homing. For details, see Delivering the
MML Command.
You can click Stop in Viewing the Result of an MML Command to stop an
MML command that is not executed.
