It is to be ensured that the pump is always filled with oil. For this purpose, a
check valve has to be installed in the suction pipe in case of tank level below
pump level.

A protective strainer with max. mesh size of 0.25 mm has to be installed in the
suction piping.

Under the above mentioned conditions, the pump is maintenance free, only the
bearings of the drive motor have to be cleaned and re-greased every 5000 op-
erating hours.

For all above configurations, the pump unit consists of the gear pump assem-

ants according to actual voltage and classification requirements.
