EXCELLENT INSULATION
AND A POWERFUL
VACUUM SYSTEM
GUARANTEE PERFECT
STERILIZATION
All images in this document are for illustration purposes only.

STERILIZATION CHAMBER The sterilization chamber has a quadrangular section, made of mir-
ror polished AISI 316L austenitic stainless steel, of adequate thick-
ness for the relative pressure (-1 to 3.5 bar) and operating temper-
atures (up to 148 °C), resistant to corrosion and to the operating
thermomechanical cycles.
The chamber is welded according to the most advanced tech-
niques with a fully automated robotic system to guarantee an opti-
mal result and constant control of the welds and finishes. The base
of the chamber allows the condensate to drain perfectly. The appli-
ance is compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive
(PED) 97/23/EC and bears the relative CE brand.

JACKET The steam jacket consists of AISI 316L austenitic stainless steel
metal sheets of adequate thickness for the pressure (3.5 bar) and
operating temperature (up to 148 °C), welded around the sterili-
zation chamber to cover it completely. Its structure guarantees a
robust chamber and a large heat exchange surface.

FINISH The internal parts all have rounded and perfectly finished corners.
The internal surfaces of the chamber and the door undergo an
electrolytic polishing to obtain a compact “micro” surface that is
detensioned and specular with high resistance to corrosion.
Both sides of the control panel are treated with micro shot peen-
ing that prevents adhesives from being used and guarantees an
easy cleaning process.

Robust chamber and large

heat exchange surface in
stainless steel guarantee
high hygiene standards.
Safety standards and energy
saving systems allow for
environmental friendly and
cost saving solutions.

THE DOOR The door is made of AISI 316L stainless steel, which derives from
thick metal sheets. It is completed with reinforcement ribs, a pro-
tective guard made of “Scotch Brite” satin finished stainless steel
and insulated with a Fonitec pad that guarantees an external tem-
perature below 45 °C.

SEALING Inflation-type silicone gasket that is resistant to sterilization tem-

peratures and requires no maintenance and lubrication.

CLOSURE The door is closed automatically by pneumatic cylinders with

a vertical axis. The system is completed with a pneumatic de-
vice that prevents it from moving if there is no compressed air/
electricity and prevents risks to operators during closure. Com-
pared to traditional closure systems, no chains, pinions or coun-
terweights are required for balance, thus allowing for improved
hygiene standards.

CABINET The external parallelepiped cabinet encloses the body of the au-
toclave and its various components.
The front panel of the cabinet and the side panels are made of
stainless steel AISI 304. The external temperature does not ex-
ceed 45 °C so as to reduce thermal dispersion in the room. The
front panel is hinged and closed with a special universal key.

POWERFUL VACUUM Using a multi stage water ring vacuum pump, the sterilizer fea-
SYSTEM tures deep and stable vacuum which guarantees excellent air re-
moval in pre vacuum and excellent drying in post vacuum.
The vacuum pump is mounted on an anti vibrating frame to re-
duce noise with high safety and protection. A water recovery sys-
tem can be added as an option to reduce water consumption.

ENERGY SAVING SYSTEM CISA Sterilizers are designed to help energy saving without af-
fecting performance with an advanced engineering solution de-
fining optimum use of power and enabling energy saving.

SAFETY SYSTEMS There are various alarm and signal levels that can be distinguished
AND ALARMS OF THE as follows:
PROGRAMMABLE • Signals that are triggered while a cycle is being implemented,
ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER before or after, but do not modify its course
• Alarm signals of faults that are not serious, with a visual and
acoustic signal, drawing the attention of the operator without
affecting the course of the cycle
• Alarm signals with a visual and acoustic signal that are trig-
gered for serious faults that wither modify or block the cycle.
All the alarm signals are both displayed and printed.

PRE VACUUM: Using vacuum/steam pulsation, the air is removed to guarantee

AIR REMOVAL good steam penetration inside the load. Type and quantity of pul-
sations are dependant on load and on packing material.

POST VACUUM PHASE: CISA technology improves drying quality thanks to stable and
DRYING PHASE QUALITY high vacuum values with less time needed for drying.

COST SAVING MACHINE Hospital steam sterilizers feature very low running costs as well as
very low maintanance costs. The combination of the two make it
a leading cost-saver.

EXCELLENT INSULATION The pressure vessel is covered with high thickness insulation ma-
terial that will control the heat loss; the insulation material will
increase the quality of the sterilization process as the heat will be
conserved inside and the drop of internal temperature will be lim-
ited; also the quality of insulation material is necessary for safety
purposes as the surface temperature of the sterilizer can be in
contact with operators and has to be kept at less than 45° C dur-
ing sterilization phase.

The insulating meterials is a non toxic, fire resistant insulation

foam with extremely low thermal conductivity and no release of
particles.

ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY Enviromental system which guarantees full respect of the

SOLUTION environment, using different solutions for thermal and noise
protection, protection of drainage and air outlets and low
electromagnetic emissions.
