Introduction Features
Thermo King has applied the newest technological Thermometer. Displays return air temperatures in both
advances to develop a compact device that controls Zone 1 zones with 0.5-degree accuracy.
(front evaporator and host unit) and Zone 2 (remote evapo-
rator unit) functioning, and displays operating information Thermostat. Provides temperature control from -20 to 80
for both units quickly and accurately inside the truck cab. degrees Fahrenheit or -30 to 30 degrees Celsius, in 0.5
degree increments.
The Multi-Temp In-Cab TG-V Controller is a microproces-
sor-based controller that is designed to be used in new two-

Zone 1 and Zone 2 are defrosted through separate controls.
Defrost cycles may be initiated automatically through timer
control or manually by pressing the Zone 1 or Zone 2
DEFROST key. During defrost cycles, the Defrost symbol
appears on the related screen display.
ARA085 NOTE: At the end of a defrost cycle, if the control air tem-
perature exceeds the setpoint by 5.1 F (2.8 C) or more, the
unit runs in low speed cool for 2 minutes before switching
to high speed cool.
Sensor Failure
In addition to generating an alarm, the failure of a sensor
will cause the display for that sensor to show a minus sign
ARA096 and dashes in place of temperature. The alarm symbol, the
minus sign and the dashes will blink continuously.

sensor. This setting must always be “No”.
Settings:
Yes = Discharge Sensor connected, display discharge
air temperature.
No = Discharge Sensor Not connected, do not display
discharge air temperature.
Modulation Valve
Multi-Temp units cannot be equipped with a modulation
valve. This setting must always be “No”.
Settings:
Yes = Unit has a modulation valve
No = Unit does not have a modulation valve.
Fahrenheit/Celsius
The controller can display temperatures in either Fahrenheit
or Celsius.
