ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANAGER

ROLE:-
To obtain optimum level of sales by promoting the KUDOS products through your team of field
personnel with the help of inputs in the form of product information folder /leave-
behinds/order book etc. and make best use of our Advertising campaigns in Television & News
Papers.
To enhance the company’s image in the eyes of Retailers and the Trade by sharing the
company’s objective and by generating good will.

RESPONSIBILITIES :-
You shall be responsible for supporting Kudos with activities as defined by the management.
For such purposes, you shall render to the company the required services and use best efforts
to accomplish the stated objective as may be assigned to you from time to time.

PROBATION :-
You will remain on probation for six months from the date of joining and this period may be
changed as per your performance

YOUR SERVICES SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-
 Driving Sales Management processes through your Team. YOU will also be responsible for
the planning and achieving the monthly sales target for your zone/area, you will drive the
team, so that each manager achieves his targets individually and thus contributing to the
growth of the company.
 Study of Market potential, Market share to plan zonal/area objectives & allocate Targets &
budgets accordingly in the Zone/Area.
 Emphasizing on field activities in terms of customer (Retail-outlets/ Doctor/institution)
coverage, Repeat coverage, call average and thereby driving 100% field compliance in your
Area/Zone
 You shall be responsible for maintaining the required stock at all Super Stockiest
/Distributor Level, keeping in mind that as per Kudos policy we are not taking returning
back any saleable stock i.e. Stock once sold will not be taken back.
 You shall be responsible for the payments from Super Stockiest/Distributor on times as per
invoice value. Kudos will not be responsible for any outstanding from market.
 To drive policies and initiatives taken at HO to the field in the language or manner in which
they understand and implements.
 Key Customer Management. you have to prepare a list of Selected/potential customers in
your area/zone who can give regular /sustained business to the company.
 Development of your team for future high responsibilities and to ENGAGE them in the
company with their career plans.
 To contribute practical aspects to HO (Competitor activities/new product/new
therapy/new innovative packing/sudden shift of customers/unexpected season/demand
change etc.) in Designing Marketing campaigns and strategies.

VISIT TO SUPER STOCKIEST/DISTRIBUTORS:-


a) During your super stockiest/distributor’s visit you will:
b) Collect detailed information about movement of stocks with particular emphasis on stocks
which move faster or slower than the normal off take of stocks.
c) Ensure that the stock and Sales statement (S & S statement) for the previous months have
been sent by the 5th of the following month.
d) Ensure that the Super Stockiest supplies the stock only to our Authorized
Distributors/institutions /Doctors only in their assigned area and against PDC only, the
company has no responsibility of any outstanding from the
market/distributors/stockiest/Retail-outlet /institution etc.
e) Every time you visit Super stockiest/Distributor, remind them not to give any cash/stock to
any field personnel and company will not be responsible for any such transactions and this
you must take in writing from all Super stockiest and Distributors. Ensure that Super clears
all bills rose by the company against stocks supplied on or before schedule date as per
invoice value only.
f) If any stock is damaged or not in saleable condition then you will examine the stock, Verify
personally and inform the status to GM/HO in writing for further course of action. Similar
action is desirable at Distributor level also.
g) Every time you visit Super Stockiest/Distributor take a written consent on the issue.

VISIT TO RETAIL – OUTLET:-


a. You will observe where and how products are displayed vis-a-vis competitors’.
b. You will observe the shelf space occupied by the company's products vis-a-vis competitors’
products.
c. Do aging analysis of our products vis-a-vis competitors’ and ensures that products are not
returned unsold/expired.

PREPARING AND SENDING REPORTS:-


a. For companies various business related activities, whether or not mentioned hereinabove,
you will fill the requisite formats whether in electronic form or in physical form and send
them to the designated management personnel at specified duration.
b. You will also demand from your team or send the requisite formats (whether in electronic
form or in physical form) to your team and ensure that the required reports are completed
and sent in specified time period.
c. You have to prepare and provide details of our Advertising campaigns in TV & News Papers
and collect the feedback in a proper manner and submit to HO with your comments.
POSTAL ADDRESS:-
You will immediately communicate to the Company any change in your address. In the absence
of your intimating the change in address any communication sent by the company to the
address available on the record of the company will be deemed to be a proper service.

COMPANY PROPERTY:-
On cessation of employer employee relationship for any reason whatsoever from the company,
you will return all Company's property and documents in your possession like promotional
material, product literature, training manuals, stationery, ETC

COMPLIANCE TO RULES:-
You will observe and comply with all the provisions of this letter, any other rule, policy,
instruction or communication which is intimated to you from time to time.

SECRECY:-
You will maintain secrecy and not divulge or make public any matter relating to the company’s
transactions, dealings or plans that are of confidential in nature without the prior written
consent of the management, except under legal duress. It is important that you continue to
strive for excellence every day. You are the Ambassador of KUDOS located at different parts of
India.
