BACK PORCH ENTERTAINMENT

MARTY ROBERTS
MONDAY NIGHT, 5 - 7 PM
Marty Roberts was born in Rochester and still lives in the area. He began
writing songs, playing acoustic guitar and singing since his early high school days.
His first CD, “First Time...At Last”, was released in 2002 and includes 11 original
songs including “Face of an Angel”. His second CD, “Second Chances” was released
in 2004 with 17 original songs including “Second Chances” and “6 Pack Diet”.
His third CD, “3rd Times a Charm” was released in 2012 and includes 12 original
songs and two of his favorite cover songs. He has opened for national acts
such as Little Feat and Diamond Rio and also came in second place in a
National contest called “Sing Like Kenny Chesney”. Roberts songwriting
and musical style is influenced by musicians such as James Taylor,
Jim Croce, Dan Fogelberg, Jimmy Buffet, The Eagles and Garth Brooks.

INNISFREE CELTIC
MUSIC ENSEMBLE
TUESDAY, 1 - 3 PM
Innisfree plays (fast) jigs and reels
and sings many favorite songs.
The audience will enjoy dancing
and singing along with their music.
Innesfree plays 10-12 instruments

HANNAH & THE BLUE HEARTS

TUESDAY NIGHT 5 - 7 PM
Hanna and the Blue Hearts channel a wide variety of the blues,
from pre-war styles to 50’s & 60’s Chicago blues, to boogie woogie.
This band puts the blues in the forefront, and is not afraid
to let the music speak for itself. All the band members
are also influenced by jazz, and naturally bring a good dose
of swing to their sound as well. Often people use the expression
‘tickling the ivories’, but if you see the way Hanna plays,
it’s anything but tickling. Her solid left hand reflects on
traditional blues masters’ rocking’ and shuffling bass patterns,
while her right hand grooves along, dancing all over those 88’s
and she adds her sultry voice to the band. It’s life’s
most wonderful thing to follow one’s bliss, and when you hear
this band do just that — their passion is infectious.

Enjoy FREE performances at the Back Porch of historic Floral Hall.

Enjoy your favorite fair food and drink and take in the sounds!

4-H EVENTS
4-H fairs reflect the evolving interests of youth in the world today.
While many youth continue working with animals, growing food and
flowers in their gardens, or refining their sewing and cooking skills,
4-H contests and exhibits have expanded to also include new
venues such as robotics, shooting sports and photography.
4-H’ers, ages 5-19, who participate in the Wayne County Fair
are provided opportunities to: display what they have learned,
enhance individual learning and skill development,
receive recognition, learn and recognize standards of quality,
learn and apply research based subject matter, and promote
public awareness of the 4-H Youth Development Program.
For more information about what you can do in 4-H
as a member or volunteer throughout the year,
visit the 4-H Exhibit Building at the Wayne County Fair
or call Cornell Cooperative Extension at 315-331-8415.
