An ignition coil (also called a spark coil) is an induction coil in an automobile's ignition system that transforms

the battery's low voltage to the thousands of volts needed to create an electric spark in the spark plugs to ignite
the fuel.

The driving member is commonly called the pressure plate. It is bolted to the engine flywheel and its main
purpose is to exert pressure against the clutch plate, holding
the plate tight against the flywheel, and allowing the power to
flow from the engine to the transmission.

The clutch lining (center) is composed of a high

friction material and fits between the pressure plate(left) and
the flywheel(right). When the clutch is released,
powerful springs in the pressure plate force the clutch
lining against the flywheel ensuring a slip free connection between the engine and transmission.

Distributor - a device in a gasoline engine for passing electric current to

each spark plug in turn.
Piston is a component of reciprocating engines, reciprocating pumps, gas
compressors and pneumatic cylinders, among other similar
mechanisms. It is the moving component that is contained by a
cylinder and is made gas-tight by piston rings

hydraulic oil.

VALVE INTAKE a valve in the cylinder head of an internal-combustion engine that opens at the proper moment
in the cycle to allow the fuel-air mixture to be drawn into the cylinder.

VALVE EXHAUST an exhaust valve is a valve that releases burned gases from a cylinder. The exhaust valve
closes during the initial part of the induction stroke.

A spark plug (sometimes, in British English, a sparking plug, and, colloquially, a plug) is a device for delivering
electric current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber of a spark-ignition engine to ignite the
compressed fuel/air mixture by an electric spark, while containing combustion pressure within the engine.

A glow plug typically comprises a heating coil in a metal tube closed at one end and filled with electrically
insulating ceramic powder. A glowplug is a heating device used to aid starting diesel engines.
A rocking lever in an engine, especially one in an internal combustion engine that serves to work a valve and is
operated by a pushrod from the camshaft.

The oil pump in an internal combustion engine circulates engine oil under pressure to the rotating bearings, the
sliding pistons and the camshaft of the engine.

The fuel pump is located at the fuel tank and is designed to convey the required quantity of fuel from the tank to
the engine at the necessary pressure.

pumps
