AN INNOVATION ON PRODUCING ELECTRICITY FROM HEAVY DENSED

WIND IN RAIL TRANSPORT REGIONS

INTRODUCTION

Even though we have various sources for obtaining electric energy still we have demand on
electricity. In order to reduce the demands we are generating electricity from dense air. In this,
fan is used and this can be rotated because of dense air. Thus mechanical energy is converted
into electrical energy. The current obtained from this method is small compared to other
resources, this small energy even can used for glowing light, fans etc.

OBJECTIVE

 A fan is mounted on the lamp post, which is situated near the railroads.

 When the train crosses the lamp post, the fan which is mounted on the lamp post begins to
rotate in the desired direction.

 The rotation of the fan is faster, as the train moves faster. This rotation of the fan is
mechanical energy, it is converted into electrical energy.

 The energy obtained is stored in the battery and this energy can be used for glowing light,
sends the train passing message to next station about the train arrival automatically.

METHODOLOGY

 A fan is mounted on the lamp post. When a train crosses the lamp post, the fan is rotated due
to dense air.

 This rotation of the fan produces mechanical energy.

The fan is connected to the generator, in this mechanical energy is converted into electrical

energy. This energy is stored in the battery.

 This electrical energy is used for two purposes:

1. Glowing of Lamps

2. Supply to the Microcontroller

 Microcontroller is used for sending the train passing message to the next station display,
this method does not need any communication between the stations to know whether the
train has passed the station. The input for the microcontroller is from received signal.
