In this project I developed two modules:
• Data transfer of all types of databases into a Microsoft SQL
Server Database. The project has been developed in Visual
Basic using ActiveX Controls. The connection with SQL server
was made via ODBC.
• Reports module developed in Visual Basic (Data Reports) and
Crystal Reports. The data connection with Microsoft SQL Server
made via Microsoft Jet Provider.
Another beneficiary was B.I.S- borsensysteminformations. It is a
software development company for dedicated financial stock
exchange environment.
The project consisted in developing an application for consulting
an SQL database from Internet through a web page. This
application was developed in Java Forte. The client side used Java
Applet and the server side used Java servlets.
