We thank our God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ and Lord Holy spirit for
helping us to write this small book

This book contains two short fictional stories backed up with Biblical parables

The Holy Bible says;

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you,
Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things
from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father,
for this is what you were pleased to do.

Luke:10:21

Yes, these parables are hidden for some and revealed for few

These short stories will be interesting and educating little children

Always make Bible reading an important one in your family and help your
children to read it

1. GREATER LOVE
Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John: 15:13

Once in a village lived a man named George he was living with his wife and 3
children

George was a poor laborer and he was the only bread maker of his family his
wife name was Sarah and their children names are Stephen, Deborah, peter
respectively.

In order to satisfy his family needs George borrowed money from his friends,
relatives, and coworkers

His first son Stephen completed his school life and was interested to pursue
his higher studies

When George told about this to his relatives they scolded him and said let
him go to work and look after your family

Then George sought his friend’s help they said George is thinking more than
he should

So George was depressed and in his heart he had a great desire to make his
son a graduate so he thought he would go to his manager and ask for help

George was aware that his manager knew about his debt situation and so he was
at first hesitated

Then he went in and asked for help, George manager Mr. David, asked how much
money do you need ?

He replied atleast 8000 rs sir

Mr. David gave him Rs. 10000 and said repay me whenever you can

George was very much happy he said sure sir

Then he went and paid the fees and looked after his family

Then hearing this Levi friend of George went to the manager and asked him Rs
1000 for his family basic need

Mr. David gave Rs. 1000 to him and said you can repay me whenever you can

Next day both of them came and said to Mr. David; “sir you are so much kind
and generous we are in debt to repay you”

Mr. David said it is your love which I need my friends do not hesitate to ask
me any help

But one day Mr. David wanted to test them whether they are truly loving him
or not

So, David called his two servants and said I have lost all my possession and
my business is in loss so I am going to close everything and now I don’t
have money to have my dinner can you both help me?

George and Levi said yes sir we will help you

David said ok now you can go to your home and come tomorrow

Levi went to his house and told this to his family his wife and children said
No we can’t take care of him he will be a burden to us he did helped us but
it doesn’t mean we should also

Go and tell him you are no more working for him

On the other side George went to his home and his family said sure we will
take care of him his son said Dad your manager has helped us to come this far
we must take care of him in this situation

Next day both of them went to their manager

Before they could speak Mr. David said I know what happened in both of your
house yesterday

My friend Levi thanks for being my servant you can go now

He went away

Then David said George this is my house but I am going to foreign and so I
just wanted to test both of you and to make sure whether you both love me or
not

I told a lie and then my spies followed both of you and informed me about the
conversation of both of your family

And you have passed this test so this is my belonging; I give this house to
you as a gift

George was so happy and he was so grateful to his manager

2. Greedy Richman
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you”. Hebrew: 13:5

Once there lived a Richman in a village. He is very greedy he have

many farm lands. The rich man name is Daniel.

One particular year, his farm gives him high number of yield so he
appointed two head member to his farm

They both gave him good advice to him and he was very happy. When
he asked them about farm they told

Master this year we got maximum number of yield so shall we give to

poor people?

Daniel said I have not bought this land for sake of others. It’s totally
for me so go and extend the barn.

Servants went and did the same. Daniel was very happy because of
the yield he got that year.

Servants Judah and Joshua got low wages from his master so they
came to him for hike in their salary.

But the greedy Daniel scold them saying rest 100 for each is enough
for both of them. He might buy fertilizer for his land if he has not
appointed them.

Both went home sadly.

In Joshua’s home there was poverty .His son James got high fever.

So his wife requested him to ask debt from his master.

But Joshua refused to ask and said he is stingy person he will not give
a penny to him

But his wife forced him to go and ask his master .hence Joshua went
to his master Daniel’s house.

When Joshua entered in, Daniel asked him what the matter was.

Joshua said his child has high fever. So he wants to take him to town
hospital.

Daniel said why poor people like you wish to get into town hospital?
Why not use government hospital? Those are working for poor people.

Joshua said it would be late for his son to recover and his studies will
be get spoiled if he admitted him in government hospital.

So Daniel asked him the amount.

Joshua replied he want at least 1000 Rs

Daniel was shocked and said he would have bought another land from
same street for that amount and so he cannot give him.

Joshua told he can cut certain amount from his monthly salary as
interest.

But Daniel said, he is getting 100 Rs as salary but for 1000Rs. he have
to pay 250 as interest and it’s not possible and asked him to get out.

Joshua pleased him very much and fell on his feet but all gone in vain
he was chased from his master’s house! He lost his hope entirely!

On the way, he saw his old friend, who heard his situation and lend
him a cow cart and asked him to go to the nearby government hospital
as early as possible.

In mean time Daniel was excited about his land’s yield and he said to
himself “oh my soul, your great, everything is available for you, enjoy
your life”

When he said this suddenly he heard a voice from heaven said,

soul has been taken tonight, then who will enjoy your property

The voice repeated twice and disappeared.

This made Daniel’s eye open. What if he died today, what will happen
to his property?

He said he have lived his life very greedy .he want to change it at least
from now onwards.

Suddenly he got remembered about Joshua and his situation, he ran to

his house, and he heard they went to nearby hospital.

He followed them and asked them to forgive him for his greedy life and
said he will take care of entire medical charge of Joshua son.

One week later, Daniel commanded his servant to give forth his 2 third
of yield to poor and raised both servants salary and lived happily.
