Enya has a positive attitude towards work and she always hands in
assignments on time. She is active participant and listener in small and/or
large group discussions. She can express her ideas and opinions and discuss
them with the class. She is able to spell most of our high frequency words. She
has done description planning first and a storyboard to create a simple
descriptive text. She can read words and sentences but requires more feeling
and proper intonation when reading. She rarely needs to take her time and
think about what she reads to give her reflections to the class. Keep it up

and thorough work. He completes activities in a timely manner and has
good work ethics; however, he often talks at inappropriate times. He can
anticipate and predict when listening to read aloud and can read long

He is able to view information and show understanding by asking relevant
questions and discuss the possible meaning. Keep it up, Yuta!

when needed. He can read words and sentences; yet he needs more feeling

sharing his thoughts and feelings in class. Moreover, he requires practicing
more in writing legibly and work on his application of the writing conventions
such as capitalization, organization and punctuation. Keep it up Rishi!

for pleasure and information. She needs to put more feeling and intonation
when reading and increase her speed and comprehension skills. She can
compose several related sentences and spell words easily. However, she

reading. He needs to boost his self-confidence in speaking and sharing more
in class. Keep it trying Adil!
Bella is a shy type; yet a well–mannered girl who can manage her feelings
and emotions in the classroom. She reacts appropriately in adverse situations.
She shares ideas frequently and rarely asks and answers questions that
demonstrate understanding. She is able to write; yet she needs to work on her

reading and speaking audibly in front of the class.

Javier has an ability to do his tasks correctly if he puts more effort and remain
focused on his work. He can read words and sentences but sometimes; he
gets confused words that look alike. He needs to develop reading with
expression and intonation. His handwriting needs to be improved through
considerable practice in letter formation, directionality, spacing, joining of
the letters and spelling. I strongly suggest that he needs to boost his self-
confidence to share his ideas, feelings and present his work in front of the
class. Keep on trying Javier!
