Pre Start-Up Checks

1 Confirm that all associated AC-1 packs are signed off prior to starting any work. Confirm that the content
of the accepted punchlists will not impede commissioning. Check vendor and Contractor supplied
certification
2 Check that all areas are clean and all components are free from damage.
3 Confirm that all preservation routines have been carried out to the recommended procedure, and that all
preservation temporary measures have now been removed.
4 Confirm that all valves are greased and free to operate.
5 Confirm that all alignments have been completed, and that no excessive pipe stresses have been
introduced.
6 Confirm that all package equipment nozzles are positioned to the vendor and project specification
drawings.
7 Confirm that all in-line instrumentation has been removed prior to initial flushing or cleaning (blowing or
retro-jetting)
8 Confirm that all equipment not to be flushed has been isolated and by-passed.
9 Confirm if line flushing has been carried out during construction.
10 Confirm that commissioning temporary strainers are installed.
11 Confirm that the necessary temporary hook-up work has been carried out and prepared as per the
procedure.
12 Confirm system PSV’s have been recertified.
13 Confirm that the system has been prepared as per the commissioning procedure P&ID’s and that all
temporary blinds/spades have been install.
