By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:


i. Mention the plot of the story, “Kuang Heng, The Hardworking Boy”.
ii. Match the picture with the correct sentences based on the story.
Objectives
iii. Sequence the sentence and pictures based on the plot of the story and rewrite them in
three paragraphs (beginning, middle and ending).

Set Induction 1. Teacher shows a poster of the story “Kuang Heng, TA : Poster of the story “Kuang Heng, The

2. Teacher asks questions about the poster.
3. Pupils answer the questions randomly.
4. Teacher introduces the topic of the lesson.

1. Teacher explains the plot in story writing. TA: Plot diagram in mahjong paper
Pre-writing 2. Teacher uses the story Kuang HENG, The Hardworking
(15 minutes) Boy as an example to explain the plot in story writing.
3. Pupils listen attentively.
4. Teacher asks the pupils randomly on what happened at
the beginning, middle and ending of the story.
5. Pupils answer the question randomly.
