Objetivo: formular y responder preguntas con las estructuras there is – there are,
teniendo en cuenta elementos de su entorno, y con un vocabulario sencillo.
Preguntas con “there is” – “There are”
•Para hacer preguntas se aplican los mentefacto
para hacer oraciones interrogativas con el verbo TO Presente:
BE, recordando que en el presente y pasado simple ¿hay una floristería cerca a su casa?
no se emplea auxiliar y en futuro se utiliza el auxiliar Is there a flower store near your house?
Will. ¿Hay fertilizantes químicos en su garaje?
Are there chemical fertilizers in your garage?
•Para hacer preguntas en presente y pasado, se
invierte la estructura y en futuro se utiliza el auxiliar Pasado:
will. ¿había un patio detrás de la casa de Laura?
Presente: Was there a patio behind Laura’s house?
•Is there + complemento? ¿Había muchos contenedores en los estantes?
•Are there + complemento? Were there a lot of containers in the shelves?
Pasado: Futuro:
•Was there + complemento? ¿habrá un círculo de ladrillos alrededor del árbol?
•Were there + complemento? Will there be a circle of bricks around the tree?
¿Habrán árboles pequeños en el patio delantero?
Futuro: Will there be small trees in the front yard?
•Will there be + complemento?

ningún, etc.) es habitual como complemento de la
