1 Introduction
This form purpose is to document all the information about an application to be used at Braskem and will be used to
homologate, package and as a support reference on the future.
1.1 Scope
Braskem: Fill the related parts of this document, send to all vendors to be filled before any software
homologation request and do any update of it as necessary;
HPE: Create and maintain this document,use it to homologate, create a package or installation procedure
and use as a reference;
Vendor: Fill the document with all information to facilite the homologation, creation of the package or
installation procure and support on any doubt;
1.2 Definitions
Name Definition
A key user is a user who have more
knowledge of the application, being a beta

3 Application Information
3.3 Requirements
If a requirement is not filled it will be considered the application works with no additional hardware or software.

If a local administrator is required to run the application on the workstation an exception will be needed by the IT
management.
Please list any program settings/files that need to be saved before the application be installed (e.g.
"C:\Users\UserID\Favorites" or “ directory for Internet Explorer) or any file/folder that needs to be copied.
Please list registry entries (keys, values, data), filenames, and directory locations.
If any special procedure should be followed to ensure functionality, please describe it in detail.
Remember that local administrator permissions on the workstations is prohibited, so it will be needed to add all
permission necessary to the regular users.
NTFS permissions on the application folders and files should be set as shown in the table below. By default
application directories will have Read & Execute permissions.

3.5.3 Shortcuts
Specify any shortcuts to be included in the application. Note, unless explicitly required any shortcut in the ‘Startup’
folder is usually removed to ensure the startup process is optimized.
Specify any File Type Associations to be included in the application. Note that any files with these extensions will be
set to open in the executable assigned to it by this application.
List all environment variables that are required and whether they should be user or system
Specify any Run keys to be included in the application. Note that unless explicitly required any item added to the run
key or startup group is usually removed to ensure the logon process is optimized.
Specify any modifications to be included in the hosts or services file. Note that it is recommended that all relevant
entries are managed through DNS and not through the application and the hosts or services file.

4 Appendix
These are the default configurations for any application submitted for packaging. These defaults can be overwritten
by any specification made in this document.
Configuration Description
Silent Install The package will install silently and will not
require any manual intervention in order to
complete the installation on the target
platform.
Silent Uninstall The package will uninstall silently and will
remove all components of the install, except
for application-specific user data.
Uninstall shortcuts The Uninstall shortcuts will not be made
available.
Online Registration shortcuts will not be made
