The Basic Sciences Examination in Orthopaedic Surgery is fast becoming the The examination will be held in the Department of Orthopaedic, Kulliyah of

The Conjoint Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (Malaysia) has determined that a
good working knowledge of basic sciences and biomechanics is a vital
pre-requisite for trainees.
All prospective orthopaedic surgeons are greatly encouraged to sit for this
examination.
Eligibility for this Examination
To be eligible for this examination, all candidates must:
• Possess a primary medical qualification
• Be registered with the Malaysian Medical Council or Medical Council of their
respective countries
