Good morning to the honourable judges, teachers, friends and to

all the audience. Today I would like to talk about the benefits of
internet.

Internet is a computer system that can connect one computer to

other computers through links. Almost everybody have ever heard the
word internet, but not every of them use internet. Nowadays, internet
not only can be accessed through computers, but also through mobile
phones.

There are many benefits of internet to people. For educational

institutions such as schools, they use internet to get information in the
worldwide to teach ICT for an example FROG VLE.

The main benefit of internet is that internet gives information

and materials. For an example, students need sources for their study.
Usually, the materials from books are not enough yet, so they have to
find other sources.

One of the things that makes internet indispensable for a person

is that internet is easily accessible. It is enough for you to enter a
word or phrase to reach so much information about it. This not only
brings time saving for a person but also the process is so short and not
tiring for the individual.

Internet also encourage us to learn second language. It is caused by

the language that is used in internet is not always their mother
language. Most websites use English to give information for us.

One of the most valid reasons for people to use internet is their
being able to communicate with their friends, relatives who are living in
other countries, far away from them. Via internet you know it is

possible for you to see your friend, relative visually and to hear his/her
voice as much as you want.

In addition to these, internet always provides people with the

latest information which is updated and ready to use as a valid
information. Everything changes everytime and in today’s world it is
important to know what’s happening in the world. Especially, internet is
an indispensable technological development for teachers, businessmen
and businesswomen, politicians, students who always need the latest,
updated information. In this respect it can be said that internet is
crucial for these people.

In conclusion, there are many benefits of internet .It will be wise if we

use internet to develop our knowledge and do not access the websites
which have certain terms and conditions to access. Because the
websites that have certain conditions like age contain information for
people who have reach that age.
