~Te Scrol of Caromancy~

Congratulations on yor interet in Caromancy, t are and practice of dvination trogh playing cards.

An ancient and exacting, yet revelatory tradtion of dvination, caromancy i used t whole world over by

many dferent kinds of magicians. Using t insructions below, yo wil learn how to turn any deck of

normal playing cards into a tool for dscovery and information abot t Worlds Aparent and Unseen.

~:To Read t Cards:~

Step 1- Firs, one mus begin by choosing a quetion. Wheter yo are readng for yorself or oters,

knowing what yo want to ask wil alow yo to choose t kind of readng yo wih to use Each

readng i deigned for a dferent kind of information one wold seek. Furher explanation on t dferent

sreads i dow below.

Step 2- Flip each card over face up. Our metod of dvination use invered cards, but some cards cannot

inver. If tere are more upside dow symbols in t card tan tere are rght-side up one, ten t card i

invered. When a card i invered, it means tat t meaning i skewed somehow. Perhaps t meaning

cannot be seen clearly by t querent (te quetioner), or perhaps t meaning seems dferent from otside

tan it truly i.

Step 3- To fgure ot what each card means, folow tee insructions: in gneral, red cards are good, black

cards are bad. Once yo've determined wheter or not t readng i gneraly good or bad, go on to read

te lore abot t Suit t card come from, ten t Pip or Cor lore, and fnaly use yor intuition to

judg anyting tat suck ot at yo, any words which seemed imporant witin t asociated verse

tread, yo can jus read one of t rows. Each row i a separate event which i myserosly linked to t

Next, read t columns- frs t Pas column, which sold explain t order of events as tey came

Proceed next to t Preent column and t Future column.

at t botom rght. Ti line i t line of Inevitability, t procesion of events as one's true fate

moved one's situation to its inevitable conclusion. Ti i read jus like t rows- True Pas, True

Preent, and True Future, t deeper movement to explain t force and situations which come or way.

357-

Forh, read t dagonal line from t tird card at t top rght, dow trogh card 5 in t middle,

and dow to card 7 at botom lef. Ti repreents t line of choice- we make choice in or live tat

we sometime don't undersand. Te 3 card repreents t goal we wih for, wit t 5 card repreenting

te meeting point we had to fnd in order to marry or Fate to or Wih, and t 7 card repreents what

had to hapen for us to achieve or deire

6, 8, 4, 2-

Fift, read t cards in t positions of Eas, Sot, Wet, and Norh. Te Eas i how one

aproache Fate and views it, t Sot i how one views Power, t Wet i how one views Mysery, and

te Norh i how one views Necesity. Tee are revelatory to t inner character of t querent.
-Te Treads of Wyrd- for deeper readng of a paricular isue

Querent

Club/Spade/Hear/Diamond

Oracle

Ti sread i easy enogh to work wit, and has a cople intereting feature. It's mos commonly used

for sciomancy, or communing wit sirts. It can also be used to gt a very concie and ful view of a

situation witot reoring to t Magic Square readng.

Te card at t botom of t readng i t Oracle, eiter t quetion being asked or t sirt who i

acting as oracle Te card at t top repreents t Querent, t one asking t quetion.

Te for cards in t row are read from lef to rght tus- t Club, t Spade, t Hear, and t

Diamond. Each of tee cards repreents a number of factors tat can be used for any quetion.

1. Fliping each of t cards and unveiling t whole readng as a simple readng of t situation i done

tus- t Club repreents teir skils, teir power, and teir srengt, what endeavors are being pursued; t

Spade repreents t setbacks and necesitie in t way, also t imperative which dive tose in t

situation underneat t surface; t Hear repreents t hear of t mater, t mysery which lurks at

te core of t situation; t Diamond repreents how tings are likely to continue, and also tey have

reolved tus far.

2. Using ti readng as a predction of time, examine t Querent card. Te suit of tat card

determine how long t otcome wil take to occur- days for Diamonds, weeks for Clubs, monts for

Hears, and seasons for Spade. Te number on t card wil ilusrate t number of increments of
time For example, 4 of Clubs i for weeks. Te cor cards sow tat t time involved hedgs on

people, not on fate If t Joker apears, it means tat someting srang i afoot, and no fate can be

seen.

3. For ye or no answers, fip t cards in t row. If a Spade lands in t Spade position, t answer i

no. If a Club lands in t Club position, t answer i ye. If a Hear lands in t Hear position,

te answer i maybe If a Diamond lands in t Diamond position, t answer i dfcult to expres in

a ye or no, so a more secifc quetion sold be asked. Remember, fip t cards one by one, lef to rght,

and wait until yo see each texture before moving on to t next card. If no cards match, sufle al cards

and try again. If t Joker lands before yo can gt an answer, t sirt i refusing to answer yor

quetion for some reason. If t Joker i yor Oracle card, however, yo can expect a very powerful answer

tat i very personal.

4. For healt and balance readngs- t Club card refers to t subject's pysical healt or wel being,

te Spade refers to t mental sate of balance, t Hear to t emotional, and t Diamond to t

sirtual balance and 'wyrd' or subtle balance.

5. To ask abot people in a situation, observe t suit cards for t folowing- Clubs are rvals, Spade

are enemie, Hears are loved one, Diamonds are frends and alie. Look to t card position for beter

clarfcation- if a Hear lands in t Diamond position, for example, it means one who i an aly i

secretly wihing to be more, whereas a Spade in t Hear position means one whom yo love plots agains

yo.
~:Lore of t Cards:~

Below, yo'l fnd a basic explanation of each symbol on a playing card. For example, at t sar of every number

section, yo'l see an explanation of what tat number means in gneral. Tere wil also be a verse explaining a rddle

abot t card itself, which yo can unravel on yor ow.

Remember to folow t Readng Steps up above at t top of ti notecard to interpret t ful mesag of each card.
