Fixes:
1. Shell course calculation using the variable design point method has been updated for
the third course. The variable tL in the calculation was using the design thickness from
the second course iterations and not the thickness calculated based on API-650 5.6.4.5.
2. Update AWWA annular ring requirements due to seismic loading per AWWA section
13.5.4.1.1 and 13.5.4.1.2. When J, stability ratio, is less than 0.785, there should be no
check for the maximum annular ring width.
3. Annular ring inside width in seismic calculation has been updated, the width should be
from the inside of the shell and any lap-welded joint in the remainder of the bottom per
API-650 5.1.5.4.3, AMETank was not deducting the overlap.
4. Update I-beam, C-channel, built-up I-beams and built-up C-channels column calculation.
The governing radius of gyration in the slenderness calculation was not using the
smallest one. The issue has been resolved.

should be the unbraced length instead of the whole length.
6. Add rafter slenderness check for dome structure calculations.
7. Update API-650 maximum allowable working pressure based on Annex F. The equation
F.4.2 was using Mw (overturning moment about the shell-to-bottom joint from horizontal
plus vertical wind pressure) instead of Mws (overturning moment about the
shell-to-bottom joint from horizontal wind pressure). The issue has been resolved.

the plates are butt welded as per Table 5-2 NOTE 2.
3. Update API-650 and API-653 shell rating when using the variable design point method.
The maximum allowable liquid level is now calculated based on iterations through liquid
levels instead of reversing the calculated thickness equation. The older method was not
working properly because each upper course is dependent on the course below it.
