From Figure 1, if the relative permittivity of materials A, B and C are 2.0, 4.5
and 9.0 respectively;

i. plot contours of potential and electric field strength when HV electrode is

+100 kV.

ii. plot the graph of electric field at the centre against the distance of
electrodes-gap (from ground electrode to HV electrode).

Repeat (i) and (ii) when the relative permittivity of materials A, B and C are 9.0,
4.5 and 2.0 respectively.

Use Model class, Plane-parallel and analysis type is electrostatic. Take the
distance “a” from the diagram as 1 cm.
