• Leading and mentoring a team of 40+ members to work on a 5mX6m rangoli that carries on for over 3 weeks and
demands up to 10 hours of work per day from each member in addition to their other commitments
•Conducted a workshop on pixelated art for sophomores to attract new talents leading to 40% YoY increase in
participation
•Scheduling a budget of INR 85000 to procure all the equipment and colours required for the event

• Led a team of 7 members in the inter hall event to perform with excellence in the open IIT and inter Hall events

PROJECTS
Beneficiation of low grade coal by double stage process - Master Thesis Project (2016-Ongoing)
•Designing a two staged leaching process to study the effects of Ca(OH)2 with 3 different acids on the ash reduction
•Performing Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis to inspect
the effect of diiferent chemicals on coal structure and its composition after leaching
•To prepose a beneficiation method that would lead to a decrease of ash content in low grade indian coal by 90%
Beneficiation of low grade coal by chemical methods - bachelor thesis project (2015-2016)
•Studied the effect of HF and HNO3, concentration and temperature on the low grade coal using DOE analysis
•Developed and optimized the experimental model by using Analysis of variance (ANOVA Analysis) by using software
design expert 7.0 which led to 82% ash reduction
•Submitted a manuscript to journal of chemical engineering and research design which is currently under review
