company plans to relocate its headquarters
to 5671 Rising Sun Ave., a nearby four-
building, 500,000-square-foot complex.
The third-generation, private company
plans to spend $15 million renovating the
Rising Sun structures. In addition to its
headquarters, the buildings will serve as
Cardone’s innovation hub.
Where as Mexico was the destination for
the low-tech jobs, Cardone sees a different
future for the part of the business it is trying
to dominate.
“High tech jobs are growing up in the
north,” Zauflik said. “We’re growing and
going after the cars that are coming out
today. The cars where you look under the
hood and you have no idea what you’re
looking at. That’s our sweet spot.”
