the 5th University of the East Model United Nations (UE MUN 2018). The simulation will be held on 19-21 of September

With the theme, “Refining Global Goals towards International Cooperation and Solidarity,” this letter is to inform you
that you have been assigned to represent the Federal Republic of Germany for the Economic and Social Council.
The topics under your committee are (1) The issue of food insufficiency towards donation dependency among
developing nations and (2) Promoting digital literacy in advancing economic and social development.

In line with this, the delegates are required to submit a position paper on both their respective committee topics. The
