A Hi-Build Anti Carbonation Exterior Coating

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A water based Eco Friendly Highly Flexible coating for building exteriors. It has excellent
crack bridging properties up to 0.5mm. It is formulated to withstand the fluctuations in the
tropical climatic conditions and has therefore to expand/contract as per fluctuations in the
climactic conditions.

USES: For building exteriors, concrete, plaster, asbestos & bricks.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

Surface Preparation:
1. The surface to be painted has to be free from any loose dust particles, grease, or any old
flaking paints. If any, has to be removed thoroughly by mechanical means.
2. Any growth of fungus or algae has to be removed by wire brush followed by water
cleaning
3. Water leakages/seepages from nahani traps, lofts, Chajjas etc. has to be repaired
thoroughly well before applying DuraStretch.
Recommended Application System:
Primer: 1 Coat of DuraStretch ACC Wall Primer-cum-Sealer
Finish: 2 Coats of DuraStretch ACC Coating, 3 coats on Parapet & Chajjas
Method: By Brush/Roller
Drying Time: Touch Dry 30-40 Minutes
Hard Dry 24 Hours
Over coating Time: 6 Hours Minimum
Dilution: 1st Coat of DuraStretch -10% Dilution with potable water
2nd Coat of DuraStretch -5% Dilution with potable water
(Ideally 2nd Coat should be used undiluted to get required DFT
Recommended DFT –Minimum 300 Microns in 3 Coats)

Precaution: Do not over thin the paint or overextend the brush

Note: Chajjas, parapet walls, window ledges, etc where water logging/retention is
high/expected a 3rd undiluted coat of DuraStretch ACC is recommended.

COVERAGE: Durastretch ACC- 40-60 SFT per Kg./Coat, Minimum recommended 3
Coats Durastretch ACC Primer 60-80sft/coat with 10% dilution

Touch Dry / Coating Interval : Min 30 to 40 Min * (can vary upon temperature)
Full /Hard Dry : Min 24 Hours * (can vary upon temperature)
Water diffusion rate V/s Non Treated :<6
Water Penetration V/s Non Treated :<5

STORAGE: Store in a tightly sealed container

PACKING: 25 Kg.Plastic buckets
