SUN CITY - A STORY OF VISION AND SUCCESS

MUSHROOMING GROWTH SEEN
IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR
The dramatic success of Sun City, as this unique
community enters the eleventh month of operation,
began just one year ago when the present location
was being readied. The land had been used for cot-
ton and alfalfa production before it was purchased
by the Del E. Webb Development Co. from the
Boswell Ranch.
Today a thriving, dynamic community has been
built. Sun City's history has been written in bold
strokes by the Del E. Webb Development Co. and
by the "pioneer" families who became thefirstresi-
dents of America's most unusual community.
