INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS

For 2011 Platform endeavours to present an exhibition program that supports (but not
restricted to) the following:
- Exhibitions of new work that considers the site specificity of Platform

PLATFORM PROVIDES
Platform does not charge exhibition fees. An artist fee is provided for exhibitions held in both
Platform and Vitrine.
Platform: No Charge. Artists fee $400 AUD
Vitrine: No Charge. Artists fee $150 AUD
Sample: No Charge.
Majorca: No Charge.

- Designed e-invitation and email-out to the Platform Mailing List.

- Social networking invitations – Facebook and the Platform blog/website.

- Opening function held on first Friday of the exhibition from 6-8pm.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

Please provide the following:

- COVER SHEET – see attached.

- WRITTEN PROPOSAL - A clear 1xA4 page outline of the project, including the
following: background/theme/concept/rationale; exhibition content; visual description
of the exhibition and how it will be installed; relationship to the proposed Platform site;
list of the project’s participants.

- CV – 1 x A4 page Curriculum Vitae. Group submissions must limit CVs to half a page
per participant.

- VISUAL MATERIAL - Up to 14 digital images provided on CD or DVD. List of

images (including artist, title, year, medium and location). No Powerpoint files will be
accepted.
