Objectives:
The position is part of team acting as the transversal control testing dedicated function
for APAC activities with the key role to give support to the RISK ORC CIB APAC team for
providing relevant RISK and Senior Management (Regional / Local & Central) a
synthetic, transparent, exhaustive, and consistent front to back view of Operational Risk
across regional activities. It will ensure the establishment and comprehensive execution
of generic control plan(s) defined for each activity by the RISK ORC CIB APAC team
covering Global Markets & Corporate Banking activities.

Roles and responsibilities:


· Support the RISK ORC CIB APAC team to supervise First Line of Defense Control
framework through adequacy assessment, verification and challenge for:
· Ensuring that 1st level controls are correctly executed in line with procedure and risk
assessment, and that they are properly documented (audit trail)
· Ensuring that “unsatisfactory” controls resulted in the implementation of an action plan
· Execute relevant independent controls (Re-performance)
· Assist the RISK ORC CIB APAC team in conducting analysis to advise the 1st Line of
Defense in Region & Countries on 1st level controls improvements
· Support the RISK ORC CIB APAC team in relevant deliveries within RISK , Métiers &
Functions, Territories and appropriate committees
· Alert and escalate on attention points to the RISK ORC CIB APAC team resulting from
the controls execution
· Propose to RISK ORC CIB APAC team improvements for the control plans whenever
required based on the holistic view of the controls
· Support the RISK ORC CIB APAC team in liaising with RISK ORC business and
transversal topic teams to ensure the controls are up to date with risk climate by
bilateral communication with RISK ORC business theme teams Governance
· Produce a synthetic, comprehensive, and actionable testing results based on
independent testing and submit it to RISK ORC CIB APAC team
· Support the RISK ORC CIB APAC team in making contribution to RISK ORC Group &
global initiatives

Interactions:
· RISK Head – RISK ORC – India
· Relevant Heads of APAC RISK ORC CIB team and other transversal topic teams (3rd
Party, IT/Cyber, Anti-Fraud)

Qualifications
· Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent

Experience
· 8-10 Years of banking experience
· Minimum 2/3 years in supervisory function such as RISK, Audit, Compliance

Languages
· Excellent Command over English – Written as well as Spoken
· Knowledge of one of APAC languages is added benefit

Technical Skills / Competencies


· General Risk Management Awareness
· Risk Identification, Risk Monitoring, Risk Mitigation, Risk Reporting Techniques and
systems
· Familiarity with the CIB products and services including front to back process view
especially Global Markets or Corporate Banking
· Familiarity with Computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Familiarity with banking IT systems

Technical Skills / Competencies
