SSI SCHAEFER’s front-to-back

racking is a special feature for
single-location storage. There is
no better solution for this kind of
storage. The utilization of the room
height is optimal, since no design
features limit the height of the
stored goods.

Front-to-back racking is particularly

suitable for order picking from
containers and pallets stored
front-to-back. The load height can
be used fully. The single-location
construction is also an advantage
for high-rise racking, especially
when heavy goods have to be
stored above each other.

Heavy duty extendable shelves

Carefully welded steel construction. With precision steel ball
bearing. Guide rails are bolted to the frames and are adjustable
in increments of 50 mm. A double bolt secures the shelf, both
when extended and retracted. Load bearing capacity of 1000 kg
uniformly distributed load.

Angle profile front-to-back support for pallet and container storage
Front-to-back supports hold loading aids safely in pallet racks. One pair of front-to-back supports
is necessary for each loading aid when storing containers on longitudinal beams with no decking
surface or when storing pallets and containers side-by-side. Fixing angles are required to secure
the supports in place and prevent movement on the longitudinal beams (see above figure).

Back stops are essential when using double-faced racking if the
distance between the goods stored on opposing faces is less than
100 mm. On single-face racking, back stops provide a pallet back
stop. According to requirements, profile widths of 40 mm and 60 mm
