I am writing to express my intent to have my apprenticeship with the office of the Senate
Legal Counsel.
Being a Senate employee assigned in the Office of the Executive Director for Legislation, I am
very much interested in working with our institution’s Legal Department. I believe that
having my apprenticeship with the said office will help me learn beyond what the school had
taught me and this will be a great opportunity for me to apply the legal knowledge I have
gained from the school to our dear institution.

May I respectfully request that I be allowed to render apprenticeship with the Office
of the Senate Legal Counsel which if permitted, will start on July 30, 2018 up to the completion
of 250 hours.

This apprenticeship program is a requirement of the Arellano University College of

Law as part of its law curriculum. Rest assured that said program will not in any manner
prejudice my work in your office but will improve my skills and understanding of the legislative
processes instead.
