2018
PIMR, Indore offers various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and
Doctoral level. These courses are offered in the departments of Arts, Computers,
Business Administration, Law, Journalism and Event Management. PIMR Indore follows
a common process to offer admission to its UG and PG programs. Except for MBA, merit
list will be prepared on the scale of 100 marks with respect to the following parameters:
 1. Qualifying examination Marks - 60% weightage
2. Group Discussion (GD) - 20% weightage (if applicable)
3. Personal Interview (PI) - 20% weightage (if applicable)

 10+2 with at least 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria to secure
admission in BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com and Integrated LL.B programs.
 A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline is required for MMC, LL.M and PG
Diploma courses.
 CMATqualified candidates are eligible to apply for MBA program.
 Students with at least 90% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible for
direct admission.
 70% seats are reserved for domicile of Madhya Pradesh and 30% reservation to
applicants belonging to outside Madhya Pradesh
 SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for 16%, 20% and 14% reservation
respectively. Students must note that this criteria is exchangeable between two
categories. (if applicable).
 In every program, 3% of the total seats will be reserved for the physically
handicapped candidates and wards of Freedom Fighters. Physically handicapped
students will have to produce a medical certificate in support of their claim.
Mentally retarded candidates will not be treated equivalent to the physically
handicapped.
 Reserved category students must have at least 45% marks in the qualifying
examination.

PIMR Indore UG Admission 2018: BA, BCA,

BBA, LL.B & B.Com
The institute offers under-graduate course in various specializations say Commerce,
Arts, Computer Applications, Business Administration and Law. Additionally, the
candidates who want to get exposure through various events can opt for diploma course
in Event Management.

Duration for different courses is three years except for Integrated Law which is five years
and L.L.B (Hons.) which is of two years. Candidates with 50% marks in Higher
Secondary board are eligible for admission in all the courses except for B.A (Hons.)
which requires 60% marks.

A relaxation of 5% of marks is available for SC and ST candidates who want to opt for
admission in Law specialization. Admission to these courses are based on the merit in
10+2 examination.

Admission 2018
Prestige Institute of Management and Research offers MBA, LL.M and MMC programs
in the field of Business Administration, Journalism and Law at PG level.

Admission to MBA courses is based on CMAT score followed by GD and PI. Selected
students can participate in online-off campus counselling through internet from their city/
town/ authorized center or from authorized MP Online Kiosk by visiting the official portal
of MP Online.
Candidates applying for the Diploma courses also need to appear for the interview
rounds conducted by the college itself. MMC admission is merit-based and Diploma
admission is based on performance in an interview round.

Detailed MBA Admission Process

The admission process for MBA program is an eight-step process. Students are advised
to follow the below-listed steps:

Step 1: Online Registration: Register online by visiting the official website of PIMR on
the basis of CMAT score or on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination.

Step 2: Document Verification: Documents will be verified at the college.

Step 3: Choice Filling: Students can opt for the specialization of their choice at the time
of Online-Off campus counselling.

Step 4: Students can lock their preference on payment of application fee by Credit/
Debit Card or Net-Banking.

Step 5: Seat Allotment: Initially, seats will be allotted as per the score in CMAT and in
case of any seat remains vacant, marks in Graduation will be taken into account.

Step 6: Additional round of counselling can be conducted by DTE, if required

Step 7: Final admission will be granted at college level.

Other than the UG and PG courses, the college also offers the doctoral degree in
Management studies for the postgraduate students. A total of 24 seats are available for
this course and the eligible candidates can register themselves by visiting the official
website of Institute, which is a recognized Research Centre of Devi Ahilya University,
Indore.

PIMR follows a common application process for all the courses offered. Follow these
steps in order to apply:

1. Visit the official website of PIMR, Indore.

2. Click on your desired course name and fill the Enquiry Form’.
3. Download the duly filled ‘Enquiry Form’ and attach the Marks sheet of class X
and XII.
4. Send the same with required documents to PIMR address.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the further rounds admission.
