PAINTING 2 Class Syllabus

This 9-week class will use the skills you learned in Painting 1. The goals of
Painting 2 are to use these skills to create space and form, to use color
thoughtfully, and convey meaning with your art. Acrylic paint will also be
introduced at the end of the quarter. Our Art History focus will be on
Impressionism and Post-Impressionism from the late 1800s.

What you already know... Materials needed DAILY:



essential paint vocabulary ●
A pencil & eraser

using tempera & watercolor paints ●
