Additional Directions:

What do I do?

Create a character with a Role Play name when you connect to The Game of
Kings server for Conan Exiles.
This is your character, so think about what kind of character and what kind of
clan you are going to be. Join our discord and check out our Dashboard to see
the live map and current events of the realm.

Go out and adventure. Find a claim that looks suitable for you or your clan
and claim it on dicord or on the map. Once you make the claim and make an
announcement on Discord. You should make the announcement in this or a
similar format on the dicord general page:

_____________________________________________________________________________

<BANNER PICTURE>

-
Name:
Main Color/Secondary Color:
Religion:
Motto:
-
Description:
_____________________________________________________________________________

Examples:
_____________________________________________________________________________

A tab will be created for your clan in the discord once this is done.
You will recieve your Noble Leader and a crown to rule your claim.

However, there are other options if you do not wish to be a Noble

House.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------

What type of clan do you choose?

House - Royal claim for the Crown. Start with an NPC

Ruler, Land Claim, and Crown.

Tribe - No Royal claim but may fight for Crown. Starts

with Ruler but no Crown.

Guild - No Royal claim but may fight for Crown.

Mercenaries, Merchants, Rogues, etc.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------

Noble House - Monarchy, Kingdom, Empire, Dynasty

AFTER FOUNDING A SETTLEMENT

Your clan starts with a race specific Leader (T4 Bearer), royal attire,
dyes, throne, and a Crown.
You must have a House name, Main color and secondary color,
Banner, follow at least one Religion, and a clan motto. You will recieve
dye in your clans colors in order to dye the clothing of you and your kinsmen
if you wish (These options can be randonly assigned if you do not wish to
choose any of these customizable options. The admins are creative but would
like to see your creativity!) You can name your Capital settlement if you
choose with a custom icon and name to be placed on the interactive map.

Uses Crowns to gain Land Claims until 13 are gathered, triggering an event
against the current Ruler.

Choose a religion that your House follows, and recieve a T2 shrine of

that god.

Government forms around Monarchy/Dynastic Rule within the house but

decision are often made by the clan as a whole, funneled to the ruler for a
final decision.

- If your leader is killed, you become a Bannerlord and must bend the
knee to the clan that captured your crown.
- A Noble House without a crown/ruler, is considered a Bannerlord.
- Bannerlords, cannot be declared war upon by a clan that has a crown as it is
considered dishonourable to attack a Bannerlord that has no claim to the
crown.

However, you or another members of your clan can claim another crown to
no longer be a bannnerlord. and make a member of the clan the new ruler. A
clan can appoint a Steward (any thrall), who can wear the crown in your
throne room if you must leave your capital settlement. The steward is not the
ruler of your clan, but only holds the crown.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------

Tribe - Chiefdom, Dominion, Confederation, Nation

AFTER FOUNDING A SETTLEMENT

Your clan starts with a race specific Leader (T4 Bearer), tribal attire,
dyes, and a throne. No Crown.

and are able to assist in raids or battles without a declaration of war.

Choose a religion that your tribe follows, and recieve a T2 shrine of

that god.

a mercenary group that takes contracts/jobs or deciding to obtain a crown
and become a noble house.
Tribes cannot be Bannerlords.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

between the two.
Guilds cannot be Bannerlords.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------

How do I or my clan become Ruler?

Obtain 13 Crowns. This triggers an event which removes protection

of Bastion City and allows your forces to Seige the Night Queen's
Keep and claim the crown after your forces slay The Night Queen
and her loyal zealots.

If someone else has claimed the crown from the Night Queen, you
instead trigger a Global Battlefield Event outside of Bastion City. Your
forces and the forces of the reigning ruler will decide a time withtin the next
week to meet in a Battlefield Event or declare war and let loose the dogs of
war to fight it out during raid time. The choice is yours.

A Victor of the Battlefield Event is chosen when all of the buildings and forces
of your enemy have been destroyed from the Battlefield. The Winner claims
the title as Ruler of the Exiled Lands.

How do I get a crown?

- Take them from another clan through trade or war

- Completing Epic Quests and Events given to the realm by the Gods
(Defeating Bandits)

- Trade in 3 Skeleton Keys for 1 Crown

- Trade in an Artefact (Scourgestone, Star of the Champion, Mask of

the Witch Queen, etc)

Any clan that can claim 13 Crowns will trigger a Global Event that can allow
them to Seige Bastion City, defeat the Night Queen's forces, and Claim the
One True Crown. The Crown that rules all other crowns in the Exiled Lands.
Once a mortal gains the crown - they gain the powers of a god, for 3
hours, under the watchful eye of the other gods. The power ofgodly
power flowing like an antennea through the new ruler... They can spawn
entire foundations, guards, gear, and encampments in a matter of moments.
After the three hours of god power, they revert back to their mortal flesh and
only keep the things they summoned during their time as a god. This allows
the new ruler to build an epic base in 3 hours, secure their location, or
expand their land as long as it does not break the law of 5 Settlements.

Story Lore
The Empire has been crushed. The King has disbanded and fractured the loyal bannermen. A true
Dark Age is upon the land. Without a king, the lands grew rampant with war. Former enemies and allies,
now friends or foes. Once peacful nations or trading unions, pushed into combat by defending their lands
from raids or taking up the sword and raiding for 'nessecary profitable gains'.
Amidst the chaos, a deadly but cunning amazonian warrior and her force of warrior monks of
derkheto from the East announce the the gods themselves, The Night Queen stands as the One True Ruler
of the Exiled Lands after tricking a loyal bannerman of the king, who held the crown secretly. A prophet of
Derkheto, she seeks to bring to Age of Darkness upon the realm once she is obains enough power... it's up
to the people of the Exiled Lands to prevent her from gaining more power by defeating her forces in
Combat Raid Events, Siege Events, and even special Arena Events where you may be able to fight a
Champion of the Night Queen... or even perhaps the Night Queen herself, in her true form.
Once known as Sepermeru, City of the Relic Hunters. Is now known as Bastion City. Renamed
during the cities rebirth, the once trade city and colony was turned into shining citadel of true power by
the Medjai. An ancient band of magi that have been around since the Giant Kings ruled and long before the
sands had begun to choke the land. These wizards of old were no match against the power of The Night
Queen and her army of zealot warriors. She came to the city to unlock and claim it's secrets. When
refused, she conquered the city and claimed it. She allowed the Medjai to live, in order to serve her as
gaudians of the city. Bastion City became a throne to rule the entire Exiled Lands and it's denizens from.
The city still thrives as the capital of the land. Even with the Night Queen as ruler. It's people are free to
come and go, to prosper and grow. The Night Queen may be wicked and cruel... but equally intelligent and
cunning. She grows like a parasite, slowly corrupting the lands itself and drawing more and more power as
she unlocks the secrets of the Relic Hunters... She is realizing that the survivors and newcomers of the
Exiled Lands can be profited from... even somewhat controlled... but will not be easily ruled. In fact, they
may rise to overthrow her if she cannot bring upon an eternal night to the land.
