Duties and responsibilities as a Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor


 Daily HSE inspections of site.
 Identifying hazards to the workers
 Taking corrective actions for unsafe practice.
 Color code system implementation monthly / quarterly.

 Conduct Incident Reporting and Investigation
 Perform hazard assessments associated with light, noise, and air quality.

 Check the gas test, which was taken by confined space attendant.
 Incident and accident reporting and investigation.
 Check all the area must be barricaded specially during hot work, crane work, scaffolding
work, excavation work, man basket work.
 Daily monitoring on site safety condition.
 Spread the safety signboard.
 Ensure a “fire watch” is provided during all “hot works” operation (i.e.: cutting, welding Or
brazing).
 Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished job such as open pit, overhead
and other must have safety precaution of signboard and safety tape to avoid accident.
 Ensure all applicable standards and legislation is fully implemented.
 Identifying the Hazard and Close Those on Daily Basis.
 Inspecting the work place to identify potential hazards and reporting the findings
 with recommendation for correction to management.
 Inspection of working equipment in the job site to ensure proper safety procedure as per
client satisfaction.
 Taking the disciplinary action against employees for carelessness.

Duties and responsibilities as HSE and Fire Protection Engineer


 Auditing of PTW (Permit to Work System).
 Providing the safety vigilance during critical Hot Work on site and process area
 Risk Assessment of Hot Work, Fire Drill at different location in Refinery, Confined Space
Work Permit.
 Participation in Live Fire Drill and Perform fire suppressions and water and Foam Hose
handling activities.
 Rescue & emergency Equipment’s like SCBA and SCBA using awareness and training
conduction
 Trainings about toxic gases behavior, Hazards, and harms like H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) at
confined space and plant area as well as trained by NEBOSH and HABC certified person.
 Fire water Network monitoring as a team member at Process area (Lube-I, Fuel
Production, Lube-II Refinery & Storage Facility).
