04. Placed below is a letter received from Akhtar Hameed Khan National
Centre for Rural Development (AHKNCRD), an attached department of
Establishment Division which is mandated to conduct training and research programs
for capacity building of government officers and functionaries, etc.
05. It is submitted that the institution has organized a five days training
course on “Role of Information and Communication Technologies in Library
Management” for Librarians to be held from 20.11.2017 from 24.11.2017. The
anticipated timings of the trainings will be from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The objectives
of the training include;
i. To acquaint the librarians with the Modern Techniques of Library
Management.
ii. To apprise the participants about Effective use of Automation and Digital
System in Libraries.
iii. To familiarize the participants with a software (Koha/Caliber).
06. NCRD has requested to nominate a librarian from FST for the said
training. It is, therefore, proposed that we may nominate Mr. Zahid Nawaz Khan,
Library Assistant for the said training which is necessary for capacity building and
skill development of the official.

Subject:- TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR OFFICIALS/ OFFICERS OF

FEDERAL SERVICE TRIBUNAL, ISLAMBAD.

Placed below is a letter No. F. No. WP(16)/2016-17/TRG Dated 3rd

October, 017 received from Pakistan Manpower Institute, Ministry of Federal
Education & Professional Training, Islamabad regarding two days training work shop
of Filing of Income Tax Returns from 19.10.2017 to 20.10.2017. The timings of the
event will be from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm. The training in designed to give awareness to
managers and executives of public and private sector organizations in filing their
income tax returns to enable then to become self-sufficient in filing their income tax
returns. The PMI has requested to nominate 2 to 3 officers of BS-17 and above for the
training program.
