1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose of the document

Image Gallery portlet is an application to allow users to browse photos based on
albums and categories and able to download the actual size of the photos.

1.2 Scope of the document

The scopes of this document are:

• To get to know the features of Image Gallery

• To use the portlet
• To put the information into the portlet.

2.0 IMAGE GALLERY
2.1 Introduction

Image Gallery portlet is an application to allow users to browse photos based on

albums and categories and able to download the actual size of the photos.

Figure 1 below show main page for Image Gallery portlet:

2.2 To Add Album
Admin is able to add album into this Image Gallery. Please follow the instructions below to add album:

1. Log in as administrator.
2. Click on the Add Folder link. Refer to the Figure 2.0 below:

3. New window will pop up as the Figure 3.0 below. Key in the details of the album, such as the name of
album into Name field, the description into Description field. Click on Save to save the changes.

4. Then click on Save button. You will see the new album in your Image Gallery. Refer to the Figure 4.0 below:

2.3 To Edit/Delete Album Image

Admin and user are able to edit or delete album

1. Click on the Action button. Refer to the Figure 5.0 below:

2.4 To Move Album

Admin is also able to move album image into another album. Please follow the instructions below to delete:
1. Click action button then click edit link. Refer figure 18.0 below:

2. Key in the details of the folder, such as the name of folder into Name field, the description into Description
field. Click on Save to save the changes:

3. Choose folder or add new folder to move :

4. New window pop up as figure 21.0 and 22.0 below :

2.5 To Add Subfolder
Admin is able to add subfolder album into this album. Please follow the instructions below to add album:

1. Log in as administrator.
2. Click on the album link which you wish to add subfolder. For example, if you wish to add subfolder in

your album, click on the Add Subfolder link. Refer to the figure 7.0 below:

3. New window will pop up as the Figure 8.0 below. Key in the details of the subfolder album, such as
the name of album into Name field, the description into Description field. Click on Save to save the
changes.

Then click on Save button. You will see the new subfolder album in your Image Gallery. Refer
to the figure 9.0

2.6 To Add Image

1. Log in as administrator.
2. Click on the album folder which you wish to add image. For example, if you wish to add image in your
subfolder album, click on the Add Subfolder button.
3. Then click on the Add Image button. Refer to the figure 10.0 below:

user can upload image and browse image by click on the use the classic uploader link. Refer figure 11.0

Key in the details of the image, such as the name of image into Name field, the description into Description
field. Click on Save to save the changes.

2.7 To Edit Image

1. Admin is able to change/edit the image.

2. Click on the Edit link. Refer to the Figure 14.0 below:

2.8 To Move Image

To move image into another album:

1. Log in as administrator.
2. Click on the album image.

4. New window will pop up as the Figure 25.0 below. Key in the details of the folder, such as the name of folder
into Name field, the description into Description field. Then click on Select button to choose folder. Click on
Save to save the changes:

 5. Choose folder or add new folder to move :

6. A new window pop up . Refer to the figure 27.0 below:

2.9 To Delete

Admin is also able delete the image in this Image Gallery. Please follow the instructions below to delete:

1. Log in as administrator.
2. Click on the Image Gallery which you wish to delete.
3. Then click on Delete link to delete the image. Refer to the figure 17.0 below:
