on the Unit while it is switched on.

Special Tools : Oscilloscope, wrench set, DMM, Screwdriver set

Definition :
This device emits X-ray by creating electron beam which moves fast and collides with the material.

Common Service Cases :

1. Faulty X-ray generation
2. Damaged device

1) Check Filament Preheat status.

2) Measure Resistance of CS-CS, CL-CL (Filament in Contact : 0.3 ~ 0.5 Ω)

Special Tools : wrench set, DMM, Screwdriver set

Definition :
Drive Board is a negative circuit that changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC)

Common Service Cases :

1. X-ray is not generating properly
2. Poor cable connection

How to check :
1. IGBT terminal short circuit test
1) Must remove the input power(DC220V) cable from Drive board before checking

IGBT location (Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4)

2) Check, GATE - EMITTER & GATE - COLLECTOR as bellow picture

3) Check, 4 IGBT following the second step

*Test Point Description

Normal DMAGED
1. GATE-EMITTER: Open Short
2. GATE-COLLECTOR: Open Short

4) Measure resistance of EMITTER-COLLECTOR (Normal resistance: about 4.9 Ω)

5) Measure resistance of 4 IGBT following the 4th step

2. Drive Board voltage check point

*Test Point Description

1. Drive Board operating voltage:

+15VDC, -15VDC, +24VDC

2. X-ray generating voltage:

+220VDC

Unit 3. PWR Board

PWR Board is a electronic power supply circuit that changes alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC)

Common Service Cases :

1. X-ray is not generating properly
2. Poor cable connection

1. PWR Board check point

*Test Point Description

1. Input voltage:

110VAC

2. Check the Fuse condition

3. Output voltage

1) Drive Board operating voltage:

+15VDC, -15VDC, +24VDC

2) X-ray generating voltage:

+220VDC

Unit 4. Main Control Board

Spcification : Main Control Board(4 Layer)

Special Tools : DMM, Screwdriver set

Definition :
Main controller is a control board. It is responsible for varies electrical control by combining control switch, relay, electric contractor,
and controller.

Common Service Cases :

1. Poor communication between PC
2. Bad Main Control Board
3. Bad cable

1. Measure voltage of TP2, TP4 to check the kV and mA signal data
