I attained a Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Finance in March 2015 after 3 years of study in various

areas with bias towards Fiance ( Financial Management) and Accounting as they were my majors. I
graduated with good grades, any average of 70, as SA degrees are not graded unless a cum laude. I have
been competent in my studies and have not just passed for the sake of getting a degree but understood
each and every concept i learnt from the beginning through to the end.

Oversaw the profitability, usage, distribution and viability of all the business transactions in the
business. I was the finance guy who did the books, forecasts, calculated the viability of each
proposal. i did the approvals of payments and did all the financial statement of the business. Was
involved in the leadership role where i had a hand in critical business decisions like when to
expand, when to down size, which area to focus on and which department not to lose it being a
loss leader.

Here I am involved in the day to day running of the business. At the end of each day i calculate our
sales, expenses, record our debtors and creditors. I check the things needed to boost our business,
get recommendations from our customers and stakeholders. I try to go with the helpful suggestions
and boost the confidence to my team.

My experience firstly from home as a first born and now at work tells me that every situation is different
and provides a new challenge thereby solving it successfully makes you a better person. I have come to
realize that when you discover an opportunity, find ways to make that opportunity yours and to your
advantage without prejudicing anyone and grab it diligently and vigilantly. I have learnt to never
procrastinate or else you will always live in regret as time is never on any one's side. At the same time if
there is a problem or a potential problem be it within your firm or business, jump to tackle it right away
for a problem hidden or purportedly ignored is a time bomb and when it blasts the harm caused is
usually insurmountable.

My leadership experience has taught me that every contribution has its merits and you just have to pick
up the positives, put them together and you produce an excellent fine tuned decision. I haven't led so
many people but the few i have made me realize that being a selfless leader means taking aboard every
member of whatever you are leading, talk them through the process and earning their trust to let you
execute the process and do it competently. I have been competent in all my voluntary and permanent
working experiences.
