AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLAINT

I Joyce L. Macaraeg 30 years old, married, the spouse of the dead victim, Samuel
Macaraeg, and a resident of Km3, La Trinidad Benguet, after having sworn to in accordance
with law hereby and say, that:

1. This complaint was filed against Mr. Christian L. Cabigat 25 years old, male born on
November 1, 1992, single, a security guard under Snappy Security Agency and a
resident of Upper Quezon Hill Baguio City, of the crime of homicide under article 249
of the Revised Penal Code.

2. That on or about 6:00 PM of May 15, 2018, I was in my neighbor’s house talking with
my friend when we heard several gunshot from our house. Out of fear, I first stayed
in my neighbor’s house for several minutes. Thereafter, I went to our house to check
for my husband. I found my husband bathing on his own blood at our garage bathing
in his own blood.

3. That I filed a blotter thru call on May 15, 2018 at about 6:30 pm at La Trinidad
Municipal Police Office for the killing of my husband, Samuel L. Macaraeg. As days
goes by, we heard that on May 15, 2018, same date during the perpetration of the
crime, a man in the person of Christian L. Cabbigat was arrested during the
checkpoint manned by the La Trinidad Municipal Police Office at Km.4, La Trinidad,
Benguet, on board a motorcycle without a plate number and was further discovered
that the person was in possession of an unlicensed firearm loaded with 1 (one) live
bullet left.

4. I suspected that the man behind the murder incident of my husband was Christian
Cabbigat because of their previous heated argument last May 13, 2018 because my
husband failed to give the salary of the suspect Mr. Cabigat, because of some
complaints from his co-workers that Mr. Cabigat was not performing his duties
properly. He threatened to kill my husband for the same reason.

The undersigned executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts
and to support the filing of a criminal case against the above named suspect and all other legal
purposes the document may serve best.
