Draw an egg on the board, then an arrow leading
to a caterpillar, an arrow leading to a cocoon
and an arrow leading to a butterfly. Point to each
picture and explain the stages in a butterfly’s
life, noting the words as you go: egg, caterpillar,
cocoon, butterfly.
20 Ask the students to colour the 4 pictures, cut
them out and stick them into the butterfly wheel
according to shape. Then ask them to cut out the
