ABSTRACT

INTERNSHIP REPORT IN SEOUL GARDEN

Lloyd Ernest P. Geocallo

Proponent

I have nothing to say in terms of the food. The quality of the food and their

service is worth the price, even if it’s quite expensive.

I would highly recommend that some of their equipments should be replaced. The

knives are already dull. In my opinion, if they can renovate the whole restaurant, the

better. It is for them to have faster production and service, it will gain more customers,

and thus, more profits for the restaurant.

For students who are looking for internship, I would highly recommend Seoul

Garden. In Seoul Garden, they always allow interns to take over-time since they have a

lot of customers. It is also easy to have an agreement with the management and the

employees are trustworthy. Interns will also learn a lot, especially in their kimchi, which

is their specialty.

ANALYSIS

I admit that I haven’t learned much since I’m new in the dining, but they have

recipes that I already knew how to make like Special Kimchi, Cucumber Namul, Korean

Fried Chicken and Bulggogi. What I really yearn to learn in their dining is their Kimchi

since our family likes kimchi. I like to learn the perfect taste that everyone would love.

Now, I combine the recipe that we use in the family and the recipe I learn in Seoul

Garden.

The problem I saw in their dining is that there’s no flow of work and the

employees are not concentrating on their assigned works. I also notice that my co-interns

doesn’t follow the “Clean As You Go” Policy. The utensils as well are not in their proper

conditions. The knives are dull and the refrigerator has electrical ground.

RECOMMENDATIONS

I highly recommend Seoul Garden for internship since the environment is good. The

people are good, as well as the interns. The Head is strict so interns will learn a lot and

learn how to discipline. The Internship can also be done faster since they allow over-time

mostly when there’s a lot of customers.
