Course Description
This 3-day course provides training on the hydraulic,
electronic, and auxiliary hydraulic systems of a medium 300C
Hydraulic Excavator. This course is a condensed version of
the 4½-day course. System operation of the hydraulic system,
monitoring system, and auxiliary tool control system will be
covered. Students will review negative flow, program the
monitor, program a work tool, calibrate the tool control system,
and use a flow meter to validate the tool control system.
Students will use the monitoring system and ET to program
and calibrate the tool control system.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
z Correctly identify components of the tool control
hydraulic and electronic systems;
z Navigate and program the 300C monitoring system;
and
z Calibrate the tool control system through the monitor
and ET and validate using a flow meter.
