Tres Marias Pancake is a nutritious food product, owned by the founders namely Monica
Tan, Katrina Amor Reyes and Vera Sophia Areola. The three owners are Junior High school
students that aim to market a healthy food to young consumers. Monica Tan has leadership and
financial skills while Vera Sophia Areola has good marketing skills that can persuade anyone.
Lastly, Katrina Amor Reyes has a great passion in cooking especially in the field of baking and
financial aspect. They love to eat, associate with everyone, and they simply believe that eating
healthy foods leads to a healthy lifestyle.

Young ones nowadays are not into veggies anymore and tend to ignore the vegetables’
nutrition benefits. Tres Marias Pancake, a pancake innovation, was created to address this
problem and need. This version of pancake can be beneficial as eating the real vegetable
because of the malunggay leaves, which are the main ingredient of this product, are freshly
mixed with the pancake. It is also market without having any preservatives, additives and
flavor packs inserted. You don’t have to worry and exert efforts anymore for they will be the
one to create a nutritious pancake for you to enjoy. Tres Marias Pancake has its wide range of
health benefits for moringa leaves are an excellent source of minerals and vitamins that is
advantageous for your health. Basic pancakes used to contain a moderate amount of calories

Tres Marias Pancake is a healthy food product and merchandise at Bukidnon National
School of Home Industries located in Purok-7, North Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon. The
business starts with the inventory of the number of product and raw materials to be processed
that will correspond to the estimated possible buyers in the campus. Then purchasing of
materials needed. Next is production of pancakes. Third, market the product to the whole
populace of the campus.

As the habit of not eating vegetables continues to grow, the people are on the verge of
having unhealthy lifestyle. The Tres Marias Pancake provides nutritious pancake to satisfy
customers need in a healthy way. People of all ages will enjoy this food for it is yummy and a
good innovation of pancakes. As the Tres Marias Pancake production grows along with the
increase in competition, the possibility of enhancing the malunggay pancake more or create
another fresh vegetable pancake such as carrots with great health benefits also, to keep the
costumers buying the product again. Main mission is to create a unique, healthy and nutritious
food that will differentiate Tres Marias pancake from different foods located in the canteen.
Also to sell an affordable food that anyone can enjoy and to educate the students that eating
malunggay is good for our health. The tres marias team will ensure a service with great values,
selling a clean, fresh and nutritious food to every buyers and capture their heart forever.

Tres Marias Pancakes is a winning food concept to market for it has faced an opportunity
as the first-veggie pancake in BNSHI. Tres Marias Pancakes will target students, visitors,
teachers and staff and other consumers who are interested in trying new food.

The Moringa Pancakes will differentiate itself to other pancakes because of its uniqueness,
nutritional benefits and yummy taste.

Tres Marias pancake introduces innovation to the existing pancake in the market. A
market survey conducted and asks some students and teachers about the pancakes they used to
eat. Most of them ask for an innovation of it. The new trend now is to eat and enjoy pancake in
a healthier way so the Tres Marias team will sneak those leafy greens to your new look with
health benefits pancake.

. The product will be sold through roaming around the campus, and advertising it
through social media. The customers will be reached through social media, and also room
visitation to every classroom in BNSHI. It is an affordable food product so everyone can enjoy.

The investors are the owners, so the benefits from the business such as the profits will
go to them. The profit of the business will be saved by the owners in the bank. Maintaining
petty cash fund could be helpful for small and emergency expenses.

III. Production Plan
Tres Marias Pancake is an innovation of pancake and can be beneficial with the mixture of
malunggay leaves, which is the main ingredient of the product. It can satisfy customers need in
a healthy way. The Tres Marias Pancakes will differentiate itself to other pancakes because of
its uniqueness, nutritional benefits and yummy taste.

The business starts with the inventory of raw materials needed for processing and also its
possible buyers. The assumption of raw materials needed monthly are 31 boxes of pancake
mix, 2 trays of eggs, 31 cans of milk, 15 bars of butter and 65 bugkos of fresh malunggay
leaves will be purchased. The supplies of raw materials are from the Dry Market and Tam
Square Grocery Store at Maramag, Bukidnon. Next, the production of the pancakes which
would depend on the estimated buyers, and out of 2,000 respondents, 800 buyers will buy the
product. Therefore Tres Marias Pancake’s volume of production is 800 pieces. The production
of Tres Marias Pancake takes 1 hour to finish and 30 minutes for packaging.

The Tres Marias team’s new version of pancake is a winning food to market but there
is no doubt that it is competing with similar food product businesses for it share similarities of
the ingredients in pancake. But the Tres Marias Pancakes still differentiate itself to other
pancakes because of its uniqueness, nutritional benefits and yummy taste. Tres Marias
Pancake is the first veggie-pancake and has its wide range of health benefits for moringa

mixture and malunggay leaves when about to cook. This will prevent the pancake from the
unpleasant smell of the leaves. Do not soak malunggay leaves to pancake mixture for more
than 30 minutes to preserve the vanilla flavor of the pancake. Lastly, the pancake will be cook
on a hot frying pan with butter.

skills. She is the General Manager of the microbusiness and also the in charge of financial
transactions of the business. Vera Sophia Areola is the Marketing Manager. She is in charge of
marketing the product to the whole populace of the campus and also in social media because
she’s good in persuading anyone, have a positive and jolly attitude that captures the heart of the
customers. The Production Manager and also be the second hand of financial concerns of the
business is Katrina Amor Reyes. She has a great passion in cooking especially in the field of
baking and can handle money well.

The Production Manager and also be the second hand of financial concerns of the business is
Katrina Amor Reyes. The Tres Marias Pancake will be produced and delivered daily. The
product is perishable due to its raw ingredients such as egg, butter and malunggay which are
perishable products.

The raw materials needed are from Tam Square Grocery Store and Dry Market at
Maramag, Bukidnon. The Personnel plan begins at ground zero with the founder being the only
employee.

B. Monitoring and Evaluation

The Tres Marias Team will produce at least 35 pieces of pancakes a day. The business
targets zero inventory everyday and aims to expand the business beyond the locality of
Maramag to achieve Php 5,000 net income for about 1 year. The business proponents will cater
the personnel needed. Vera Sophia Areola will conduct the marketing and selling of the
product while Katrina Amor Reyes will handle the production and Monica Tan is in charge of
the business and directs the team.
VI. Financial Plan
Tres Marias Pancake will need at least PhP 5,000.00 to start its operation in the market.
This will be coming from the investments of the owners’ saving and also by the assistance of
their parents. Percentage share on investment of each member of the proponent is 33%. The
business will keep earning profit for about 1 year.
