Directions: Use the check list below to complete your two maps of the Middle East.
On both maps:
1. Make a map key in the space provided. The key shows your reader what the symbols on your map mean. Ex: ^^^ = mountains, blue=water, etc.
2. Circle the Middle East on the world map in the bottom right hand corner.
3. Color all water blue. (oceans, seas, rivers, canals, gulfs, straits, etc.)
4. Use the inserted image of Israel to label and color the following locations within Israel:
Gaza Strip- political side (color green) West Bank- political side (color green)
Jordan River- physical side Jerusalem- political side
2. Place a (●) at the location of a city and a (*) at the location of a capital city.
Label each of the following cities:
Baghdad Kabul
Cairo Mecca
Damascus Riyadh
Dubai Tehran
On the physical map:
3. Label the physical features. Color the feature and/or draw its symbol based on directions below.
