We believe in the power of investing in women in
our communities who can build businesses and
create jobs. We know that when women
are given the opportunity to become
entrepreneurs, they can improve
their financial lives, the lives of their families, and
the well-being of their neighborhoods.
Women-owned small businesses receive 16% of
all traditional business loans, and have a harder
time accessing credit through government loan
programs because they often do not have
significant credit history. That’s why we have
partnered with Opportunity Fund, the nation’s
leading nonprofit small business lender, to offer
women-owned small businesses affordable and
responsible working capital along with the
business mentoring.

The Biz Hub, the Fresno Area Hispanic
Foundation's monthly newsletter. We are excited
that this project has now come into fruition. I
trust that every one of you who receives the
