Degraded Mode has 2 possible causes:

1. The Spyder did not receive a signal from the PC indicating a successful boot within approximately 3 minutes from when the
battery meter becomes active. In this case the power button turns Yellow, 2 beeps are heard, and Degraded Mode screen is
presented.
(Suspected parts in this scenario are; USB PC to Spyder cable, LVLE2 power supply, PC, and the Spyder board)

2A. The Spyder detects a loss of video signal from the PC after a successful PC boot signal is received.
At system boot, the power ring turns Green, 2 beeps are heard, and Degraded Mode screen is presented.
This takes approximately 75 to 105 seconds (1 min 15 to 45 seconds) after the battery meter becomes active.
Also, if the video cable is disconnected the display will blink at a 1 hertz rate displaying the last video signal stored in the Spyder
video buffer. The display continues blinking until the Degraded Mode screen is presented.

2B. Anytime 5 successive video samples (video communication) are lost or corrupted after a successful system boot.
(2A and 2B suspected parts in this scenario : PC to Spyder Video cable, Spyder board, and the PC)
