Program Objectives:
The degree courses in Electrical Engineering discipline are so designed that these provide an opportunity to the enrolled
students to select and opt for studying the courses either in Power Engineering Group, Telecommunication Engineering
Group, or Electronic Engineering Group depending upon their aptitude and inclination. The curriculum has been
prescribed inline with the latest guidelines/framework of HEC/PEC which gives an in-depth knowledge of different
Electrical Engineering subjects. Apart from imparting the classroom knowledge to the students, practical application of
the same is demonstrated in the well equipped Electrical Engineering laboratories, which instill in them the confidence
to solve the practical real-life problems. This is important to mention that a student after graduation is well prepared to
undertake any practical field assignment. Because of the introduction of the latest technical subjects in the curriculum of
the degree program the graduating students will face no problem in seeking employment or pursuing higher studies
anywhere in the world.
Program Outcomes:
The graduates of Electrical Engineering program will impart knowledge and skills to understand analyze and
design electrical engineering systems.
The graduates will serve adeptly in national and international industry or academia by showing requisite skills
and knowledge in the field of expertise and will demonstrate commitment to ethical practices, community
service and contribution to socio-economic development of the country.
The graduates will enhance his interpersonal skills and apply ethical principles and compel theory into
practice and standards of engineering practice.
